**Help** OBD2-A to OBD2-B??
I have a 98 civic and i am attempting to swap it with b16a2. i need to know if i can use the OBD2-b harness on my car.
and also if some one could tell me what these 2 wires are for on the drivers side of the harness because they are not on my OBD2-b harness?
Sorry for the HUGE pictures
this is off my OBD2-a harness (the blue one is blue with a brown stripe)

this is the OBD2-b harness missing those 2 wires

Help me out please

I did this swap into my 1997 EX sedan and every thing is plug and play minus the ecu, but i got mine BAR'd.. if you arent trying to BAR your car then get a p28 or something obd1 with a jumper or if you want a plug and play option you can find a JDM P2T which has the obd2-a plugs or i think it is a P30 but from the 96-97 del sol SI goold luck its rare and expensive.. but the usdm P2T has od2-b plugs which requires a jumper which i had to use for mine... and i believe all civics in 98 came with the FTP sensor so you wont have to worry about that engine code like i do if you use the USDM P2T.. also what base model do you have?? you may need to add pins for some of the sensors...
i have an EX, and i know most of what you said, but here's a question. if i was to use the obd2b harness would i have to worry about anything? cause then the P2T would just plug right in, the only thing i would be worried about is the 2 wires that i pointed out in the pictures, the obd2b harness doesn't have those :/ are they important or just some D series **** i ain't gotta worry bout????

you need a 99-00 underdash harness if you plan on using the harness from the b16a2.. if you use your factory harness and add wires and what not, you can just re-pin your OBD2a plugs to work with the OBD2b P2T ecu, or buy a conversion harness.
