HELP dpfi civic wont stay running and purges fuel from TB
I have an 89 civic with dpfi..i just swapped another d15 in because old one had a blown oil ring and headgasket...i used everything from the old motor but the actual block and head..i used same manifolds, dizzy ect and they are known good because the car still drove with those things wrong...anyway now i try to start the car and it keeps wanting to start or will for 1-2 seconds and then kills its self and purges fuel from the throttle body...one sensor irs cracked on the bak of intake manifold though..it still lookzs connected though..it has an orange or red wire and a black..i believe its called tandem valve sensor..but im not sure...anyone every had this problem?
I believe the o2 sensor is bad though because it was throwing. Code before swap and lagged horrible before about 3k....could this cause anything?..car gets started and o2 reads wrong and car is dumping too much fuel?

Your ignition timing is 180* out of phase. Some people will say impossible (because they have no clue what they are talking about) but you can put the distributor in 180* out.
Take it out and spin the dizzy 180* and reinstall. When you put it back in be sure to "center" the dizzy on the top ear (this will get it close). Then get it running and set your timing.
Your bad O2 will NOT cause it run so rich that it won't start...
