"You are bidding on a set(4) of brand new, 1999-2000 Honda Civic SI style wheels. These are identical aftermarket replicas made to exact factory specifications. Sample picture to the left, center caps not included. Factory Honda center caps will fit these wheels, but we cannot include them because of copyright infringement laws. Honda caps can be purchased from any Honda dealers parts department."
Think these are legit? I am thinking of putting them on my aztec green DB2. Let me know what you all think!

agreed. now what would be pretty cool is if someone made a stock replica wheel thats like 7.5-8" wide. and possibly even a low offset version of stock wheels with a lip. just thinking out loud.
but yea i would stick to finding a nice clean set of stock wheels FO SHO!

The listing says they are aftermarket replicas. So that's what they are - copies, not originals.
No, NOT cool. Most of our cars use 195/55-15 or 205/50-15 tires, neither of which can safely be mounted on a 15x8 wheel.

I am not worried about the price/tires. I want them to not have any curbage or any kind of damage. If they look like the original SI and are brand new then I think it would be a good deal.
Be weary of "replica" wheels as they may or may not have been constructed as strong as their "real" counterparts.
As for the op, just search around here and maybe craigslist, im sure you can find a clean set of REAL oem si rims, which would look really clean on your da

yeah, thats why you buy new tires that can fit the 8" rim, he's just saying it would be cool that if someone is going to make a replica to IMPROVE the rim.

And I dont have my mind set, just wanted to see if anyone is rocking the aftermarket SI rims as they really look the same as the oem SI.
For some reason i always thought if i had a green db2 then i'd get white cpr's or track r's. I have a jasper green da, im on different rims though, whatever suits your personal style
I am currently rockin black rota slipstreams. Also thinking about getting Bronze Volk te37s. I want to see what the SI rims will look like first though.
you can definately find a nice set for way cheaper they are all over craigslist for a 100 bucks some with tires might need some polishing but those definately arent worth it

ummm like the other cat said, i was refering to an improved version of stock wheels. and you can always stretch a set of tires over an 8. those arent the only tire sizes made. just saying it would be hella sweet.
but again to the OP, id deff take the time to find a clean set of real si's. you never know how crappy replicas are till you break them...even if it costs the same to find real ones, atleast theyre real.

Not safely, you can't. The tire manufacturers specify what range of wheel widths their tires can be safely mounted on. If you mount tires onto wheels that are wider than those specs, excessive stress and heat can build up in the sidewalls, and can lead to the tire popping the bead and/or blowing out. If this happens, you won't get any coverage from the tire warranty, which only covers tires that are mounted on wheels within the specified range of widths.
look on craigslist put a wtb ad up you d be suprised i had like 20 kids offer me si's plus cash for my slips just be patient
