Where can I find a H22A basemap with EGR and Knock disabled?
As the title says any pointers would be greatly appreciated.
I have a chipped p28 im wanting to use to run a H22A engine in a 94 civic hatch. I believe I need the EGR and knock sensor disabled and as a side note before running this I understand I need to remove the IAB's also.
Thanks

P28 doesn't have Knock or EGR enabled to begin with and it won't activate the IABs unless you have that hardware added to it. So all you really need is an H22 basemap for a P28. There's plenty of companies like J-K-Tuning.com and Phearable.net that can provide a simple basemap for you. Or you can get some software and do it yourself.
Thanks that simplifies things alot for me. What if I put a stock h22 basemap into a chipped p28 but leave the IAB's hooked up on the engine, will that cause me running problems in a certain rev range? Now the engine is in its a bit tight getting the inlet manifold out but I think its do-able. Never say never
It will leave the IAB's open all the time which may cause you a little low rpm torque loss, but if its in a light chassis that may not always be a bad thing. I dont run IAB on any of my H22's.
Thanks for the info guys, my chipping stuff has arrived the last couple of days so shall give it a go and let you know the outcome. I am going to leave the IAB's as they are for the moment and run the chipped p28 to see how that fairs up. If I still have problems is there a way to disable the IAB's without removing the inlet manifold? i.e removing a vacuum feed for them
Cheers

Well I did as you said and got a socketed P28 and ran a basemap on it but still no luck. I have logged my progress here http://forum.pgmfi.org/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=19633

The guy I got the last 2 maps from is a reputable tuner, the thing I dont understand is why a H22a stock map wont run on the P28 ECU. I realise I have to tune the basemap further but it should at least start the engine. When I switch to the P13 it starts fine.
I did notice in crome all the maps I have are for 240cc injectors but for some reason it wont allow me to change and save as 345cc injectors, could this be an obvious problem?

You actually can't import stock H22 maps from a P13 directly into a P28 ECU, it doesn't work. You also can't run a P13 bin on a P28.
They may be maps that were tuned for stock H22s and whatnot.
Depends how they were setup by the tuner.
