ok my 3rd gear went out on my b16 tranny and my friend has a ls tranny i can get for cheap n i dont wanna go with the ls tranny cause of the long gears n might cause lag?

what do yall think ht get the ls or jst buy a gsr or b16

Dont worry one bit about that ls tranny, I ran it on my ls teg for 2 years, i made 293whp and 260tq without one issue, to be honest with you i actually kind of liked the long gears on it. First and Second spun of course but i had full traction from 3rd gear on. Pulled really good 3rd and 4th with the longer gears. One thing i would do is while the tranny is out put an lsd in it.

b16 jdm trans super short gears made 400whp at 14psi 65mph n they lite up like crazy rev limiter instantly never had any problems grinding or anything ran 11.2 with this trans 300ft lbs of torque
