Default cb7 fog lights

I took a set of oem fog lights off of a '90 ex parts car I bought. I found the backs of them a little puzzling, two 8mm bolts that dont seem to do anything(adjustments?) and a little metal gear attached to another plastic piece( sorry for the discription). for being simple parts they seem fairly complicated, any one have any imput as to what some of this stuff is for? Also I'm still undesided about how they look, but would like to have a set of oem fog lights, any modifications that can be done to them? thanks.

yeah, parting out this ex makes me see all the little things here and there that are better. I'll be able to use the oem switch, and I think the wiring too, as far as I can tell so far the wiring for them is seperate from everything else, but I have only tracked it through the engine bay and not into the dash. For the cb7s being very common I don't see many with oem fog lights.

well... I did find the harness' A,B, and C. The one behind the bumber, B, will be useful, the one in the engine bay, C, goes to the fuse box but connects to B with only one wire, so I think I may figure out a bypass. As for harness A I got all the plug-ins disconnected and was hopeing just to be able to plug it directly into my car, but unfortunetly mine looks completely different under the dash : /. And harness A has many plugs on it, so I think after some talking with some one a little more knowledged in automotive wiring Im going to rewire them using harness B, and part of A. Ill get some pics on here when I get a little farther. Any wiring advice would be appreciated.

That is interesting to know about the how the fog lights came. Any more information about them, where they just a dealer add-on?

They are fog lights, not much to know about them. They were an option, and no, you don't see too many accords with them, but that's because the majority of cb7's are driven by regular people who aren't interested in cars. They are pretty common among the enthusiasts.

Wasn't sure if I should post this in this thread or start a new one, but does any one have any kind of diagram or instructions for wiring these fog lights? Ive done some searching and can only find instructions for 2000s models, and even a Honda dealer could'nt help me. Thanks

as for the harness. They are all the same for the CB chassis. Its a direct plug and play with no splicing involved.

I have the lights and the harness behind the bumper installed. The problem I'm having is that the harness under the dash has a bunch of connecters and the car I took it off of and mine look different under the dash. As for the harness in the engine bay, I think I might be able to get that one figured out, it is a lil confusing when it gets up to the fuse box though.

Its pretty simple, you basically take one plug out of the fuse box and plug it into the harness and take the harness and plug it into the fuse box location. Then you just run the other harness through the fire wall into the fuse box under the driver side.

I got them all wired up, I hadnt had time to work on it the past couple days, but when I took another look at it, it was all fairly simple.
