i have a 94 civic hatch with a 01 ls swap(hyrdo tanny). when im driving and im in a higher gear than second i can't put it in second(no matter what i try). but from first to second it works every time.
for example if im in 4th and im pulling up to a stop light, the stop light is red and them turns green as im aproaching going about 10 mph. i can't put it in second to accelerate i have to put it in third and thats a pain in the ***. but the weird thing is if im going under 5mph it will let me put it in second. can anyone help me as to why this is happening?

 

1/2 sleeve set or 1/2 detent bolt washer.

 

not quite sure what you mean. sorry im pretty new to hondas. im learning though

 

someone else told me my 2nd gear syncros went bad.
