I have a 98 teg LS VTEC... looking to put some gauges on it.

Oil temp - I have a moroso oil pan... with a temp plug...

Oil pressure - i guess ill go with one of those oil filter doughnuts, not sure what brand to go with...

Water temp - I have no idea where to run that off of

what is every part I need? I am going with autometer gauges.

I'm running my oil temp and oil pressure off of a 'sandwich adapter' that threads in behind the block where the filter threads onto.

as for the temp sensor, you'll also need an adapter that taps into the upper rad hose to accept your temp sensor.

that's how i ran my gauges.

where did you order from?

when you buy the gauge, does it come with the sensor too ?

 

for the oil pressure...i came off the back of my block with a "T" fitting...one of which i ran my aftermarket sender in one side...and my oem one for the light on the dash and ecu on the other side.....as for my water temp i took the oem one out of the side of the head and put it in there and just discontinued the oem one...

 

I believe that Golden Eagle makes these adapters. Greddy as well, and i believe Mfactory made them too, but i'm not sure if they still do.

i bought my stuff from my local shops, but i'm sure you can find it cheaper online in the US.

my gauges came with all the sensors. if you buy used, sometimes you might not get them but it's probably better to get new ones anyways if you're going used (sensors).
