Default RC injectors question

Ok, I know a million people post about the O ring but my injectors are installed. The problem I am having is that the clips dont have enough room to clip on.

My setup is a

OBD 1 injectors
OBD 1 fuel rail
RC 310 saturated injectors

The clips dont seem to want to seat down completely over the clip. They look like OBD 1 clips and the person I got them from said they work with OBD 1 clips. But the two corner clips are getting blocked from the rail where it squares off. And I dont seem to be able to hook the clips down all the way. Is it possible to have the top of the injector to far in the rail? Any suggestion would be appreciated. I just switched my clips from OBD 0 to OBD 1 during the conversion. If anyone has an idea please let me know.

Thanks,
Ryan

Perhaps you have OBD2 injector harnesses and need to perform this mod.

Loosen the rail, and slide the injectors out slightly then plug them in first, and bolt the rail back down. If I am reading your post right, this is the same thing I ran into. I couldn't get the clips on until doing that.

Thats what I will have to try b/c that is exactly what im talking about. I just didn't want them to not seat right if I have the wrong clips. But they are deff OBD1 b/c I soldered them on and cut them off my EG harness.

Thanks guys
