Default white smoke still

i just did a intake manifold swapt on my 92 gsr...i replaced the gasket also but i still get white smoke coming from my exhaust...is it because i didnt put it on right or is it that the manifold is not working good 4 my car...? i got the manifold off a b16 head so im sure that it should fit...i also have a high rpm when i start the motor...it stays at 1500 when warm up...please someone i need some advice or feedback...tanx

Sounds like a combo of vacuum and coolant leaks which would certainly point to the gasket.

I'd take it back apart and look at the head the gasket and the intake manifold... look to see where any leaks may be coming from... you may have just not tightened it down properly.
