That is awesome!

Any idea how much earlier you might expect this to spool on a 2.0 liter? I'll have to search around and see what I can find for 6262s on 2 liter builds. Maybe have to look to Evo's to find some good examples I suppose.

A couple hundred faster for the 2.0L and another couple hundred faster for a ramhorn.

Thanks!

Is it still the consensus opinion then that the t3 6262s spool a little earlier than t3 SC61s? Looking around on the internet I see some really early spools on 2.0 liters, and I definitely see that early this year the consensus was that.

I don't think there's enough empherical data of a direct comparison to say that. There are still the varying differences of the SC61 to directly compare with the S6262 exhaust wheels. The differences in exhaust wheels make more of a difference than just the compressor wheel alone.

So one must compare the SC6152,6169, and 6176 with all of the SC62 versions, 6262, 6265, and 6267, before any direct comparison, (and a resulting consensus from the "gods" of H-T) can be made. So you can't be cursory about it.

Thinking about this a bit more, it seems like the "magic" turbo of this bunch for us would be the 6262 from what I'm seeing on the internet. If an Evo can do 8s on the 6262, then it's putting down some massive power. How many guys are there on honda-tech that are really looking for more than HP #s in the 800s?

Nice results on the 6262, should be interesting to see what its like when you get some more fuel to it. What a/r housing are you using on that 6262?

Oh the comaprison between the sc61 and the billet 62. I have a chart with my old 6152 .63 a/r 4 bolt housing overlayed with my now 6265 billet .82 a/r vband housing. You would be suprised how well the journal bearing 6265 does vs the journal bearing 6152. It only gives up very little to 6152 for power for about 900rpm while building boost... otherwise its all the larger 6265's game.

I'd LOVE to see that, since I'm running that exact sc61 right now. As my build evolves, I might just have to upgrade the turbo. . . .

If you would be willing to e-mail it to me (as opposed to posting it for public consumption), I'll PM you an e-mail address!

Probably won't be till spring for anything to happen with the fuel. Car is going into storage soon.

T4 6262 very cool. I was asuming it was a T3 housed unit.

I can PM a link to it if you like, keep in mind my application is a f22b1 sohc with a little more displacement. however for comparison sake though, the variables are all pretty much a constant like same dyno tuner engine head cam etc.

Impressive! ! !

And a 6262 *should* spool a little sooner yet, right?

looks good... if youre using the hondata for boost control you could have ramped the boost up to 23+psi till 7k and tappered it down to 17-18... would have made 500+ and still been safe on the fuel side
