Default auto to manual and swapping DOHC ZC into EF hatch help

so i got an auto 1990 EF with stock d15b2(dual-point) running good (just did the head) and i was planning on keeping my d15 clean multi point it mini me it and maybe boost it or swap an LSV

but my plans changed quite a bit

iran into a crx hf in very poor conditions(rust everywhere) ****ed up interior and no a/c and a few hits however it had a DOHC ZC and was stick so i bought it as a parts car...to do my 5speed conversion and swap the ZC even though it was running with some problems which turned out to be a bad spark plug and a pr4 that ran it like **** so i then got me a pm6 and its running good now

so now im in the process of doing my auto to stick conversion...i took out the pedal assembly from the crx and already swapped it on my ef(it was a pain in the ***) ive heard that was the hardest part of the conversion but now i need to get my bay ready for the ZC i know the engine will fit right in and im good with obd0

however my main concerns right now are

HOW TO GO MULTIPOINT?(most write ups are on converting an engine) i just need to wire it up for my ZC keeping in mind i got a pm6 so i dont have to wire up anything

RADIATOR....will my d15 one work?
i heard you need to get a DA integra radiator and custom mount it on the radiatopor support
what radiator can i use?

WIRING AND HARNESSES the engine harness is in OKAY condition so i was wondering if i can use my d15 harness and convert it or something

also anything i should do and/or change before dropping the engine?

MOUNTING MY STICK TRANNY i heard theres some brackets and mounts i will need off my crx in order to drop the tranny(L3 cable off crx si)

any help and suggestions will be greatly appreciated

your stock radiator will work fine - you will need 88-89 Integra upper radiator hose

also anything i should do and/or change before dropping the engine?
i would strongly recommend that you change the timing belt and replace the oil pan gasket and front and rear crankshaft seals

thanks alot for that link bro it seems quite reliable
the zc has a new timing belt(Goodyear brand) however I've heard that the timingbelt in these engines is quite tricky how can I know if it's the right one? lol and as of the seals hopefully tmrw I'm getting the engine off the crx and clean it throughly with digraser and see wassup with any leaks.. how much do these seals go for and are they easy enough to do them yourself?

the Goodyear Gatorback timing belt part no. is 40142 - not really that tricky to install - just line up the TDC mark on the crankshaft and line up the marks at 3 o'clock on the exhaust cam and 9 o'clock on the intake cam with the top of the head

pan gasket and seals are less than $50 - yes, you can do them yourself - use the 88-89 Integra pan gasket and CRX Si front and rear seals

you need to use all of the manual transmission mounts - you need to move the mount that is on the rear cross member over toward the passenger side to the second set of holes

bro good looks with all the info..
im at a shop right now and just finished unwiring the engine harness off my ZC and removing all the hoses and getting it ready to take it out the HF bay..

the previous owner did the rear and front cam seals put the new timing belt and changed some hoses however when i get it on the stand im gona de-grase it and look out for any leaks...
should i change the dizzy seal i have a small leak that drips to the ZC stamp(below the valve cover) idk if it the head gasket or the dizzy any ideas whewre the oil might be coming from?

once again thanks alot bro..

some update pics of the build..

got me a DA rear disk conversion..

**** drums

rear disks :D

my lil garage lol white crx parts car teal green ef parts car and red ef my ride lol mind you im only 16

teal green ef had a mind dash so i decided to swap dashes and while i was at it i said **** it ima drop my stick pedal assembly..

****ing mess

more of a mess...i had to do this same exact **** to get the pedal assembly off the crx

finally out **** automatic lol

the new stick pedal assembly with tranny cable and throttle cable..

then started putting everything back together

peep at the pedals and the auto shifter lol

had no school today so i decided to go to the shop and take out the engine off the crx to get things going...i had to disconnect all the plugs and sensors in the wiring harness

then i had to disconnect all the hoses going in and out the engine and getting it ready to get taken out

then on the lift about to unbolt the mounts..

then when i was unbolting the headers i noticed this -.- and i had to take the whole thing out because i didnt feel like cutting the piping

its an OBX btw should i keep it?
kinda loud and ricy with the twin loop..

getting chained up...

finally out

my ZC just posted lol

**** you crx lol

thats what i got done as of today im going to start wiring up my DX engine harness and MPFI it and get it ready for my ZC
as far as the engine im gona clean it throughly with degreaser and look for any oil leaks and anything i should change before swapping it in

anybody know what setup this is its on the crx but im most likely swapping it over to my ef...

thats all for as far as the progress ill be posting up more pics of the car while i get the engine bay ready for the swap...if anybody got any helpfull suggestions of anything i should to to the engine while its out let me know
and yes timing belt is new frant and rear cam seals are also new... and oil pan isnt leaking

thanks for looking constructive criteria please

88-89 Integra is the correct wire set - 86-87 are different at the distributor, although you could use them - SOHC D-series don't fit on the DOHC ZC - the wires are in the correct locations in the pictures of the ZC above - they are not the same as SOHC

Ok, your right about the sohc fitment, we both agree on that.

Now, lets not confuse people on the Integra application. The 86-89 Integra (87-89 in Canada) all "use the same wire set"!!!!

http://www.moroso.com/catalog/catego...?catcode=39311

http://www.jazzproparts.com/product_p/32339.htm

Yes, the 86-87 models shared a slightly different part internally than the 88-89, but the both still use the same wires!

I know the dohc zc pretty much top to bottom. Hell, i started bring in those engines way back in the day starting in 1995, yeah 14 years ago. I used to have one all built up, and running nos..my crx would run 13.7@101mph back in the day

lol no hondas have always been my passion just that i needed the car asap at the time

and sure bro but your talking beater type build or track project build?
ill pm you some pics.. car does need work i'd suggest you get it as a track project cause the interior is trashed and i had the usual quarter panel rust...
