I noticed oil leak from underneath my vtec solenoid so I decided to replaced the old gasket with the new gasket and it still leak oil.......I have also torque the three bolt at tighten the vtec solenoid it to honda spec.....I was just wondering if it necessary to put the black silicon glue to the gasket...????????? Any suggestion and dvice is appreicate..............

 

it's not your vtec solenoid leaking. it's most likely your cam seal.
