steering wheel install need help asap
so i got a steering wheel from a buddy and he had it on his teg with no adapter or "quick release " i guess you call it, so i followed the how-to hear on h-t and did everything right and now the bolt wont tighten down enough for the steering wheel to work any thoughts on how to fix this i really need help cause if not i have to drive this biatch to work with a lug wrench
if the bolt wont tighten down it could be b/c its stripped??? or are you saying that the bolt holes dont line up very good??
The bolt holding the wheel to the steering column is on too tight?
You could try holding the steering wheel, and using a large breaker bar if it's stuck.
Usually, you just undo the bolt, put on the steering hub, then quick release, then steering wheel. The HUB is what is bolted to the steering column, not the steering wheel.
