Default skunk2 manifold + blox 68mm tb?

was wondering if a skunk2 manifold and 68mm tb are too much for my setup. heres my mods:

b18c1
81.5mm itr pistons
ctr intake cam
cam gears
rmf replica narrow header
greddy sp2
hondata IM gasket
b&m fpr
bennen fuel rail
test pipe
hondata s200
jdm itr tranny lsd + 4.785fd
and my aem cai wont fit anymore so i need a new intake either pw jdm whale ***** or aem v2.... what do u guys think?

the IM and T/B need head work for the numbers to show up on the dyno otherwise there will be little or no gains. experienced this on my old teg and was runnin hondata s300 and similar setup to u, when i got the IM n T/B in i gained a kilowatt on the dyno graph n he said it was becuase of my stock headwork.
i dont no if this is true but alot of people have told me from other forums that the skunk2 IM for GSR tegs is like putting a type r IM as it is based on the type r IM

but beside all that they sound nice wen installed

No, why would you think they would be "too much"?
They will compliment the short list of mods you already have, more air = more power!
I will say instead of buying some intake, look on Ebay, grab a Blox Velocity stack kit ($60) and a 2.5 - 3 inch piece of piping($30) to fit your car and make your own intake!

Is the IM the Pro series or the old one?
Get the AEM ITR CAI with a V-Stack. Do not get the pw jdm whale ***** or aem v2.

I will be changing my entire Intake set-up in two weeks.
Performer X, AEM ITR CAI 3", and a BPI V-Stack. I have a stock TB ported to 64mm tapered from 70mm.

Here is link about this little project.

I agree the JDM whale ***** intake is terrible.
Although it is a waste of money to get a $200 AEM intake when he can make something similar for far less money.....

The gsr intake manifold isnt the best. The best thing thats going to happen when you swtich them out is its going to look better lol. As far as gaining hp. Nothing your ever going to feel and might not even see it on the dyno. You do have a couple basic bolt ons but i would do lots of other stuff first. Like was stated before some head work would be more benificial.

Are your sure? What cams where your running. The Stock GSR cams quit making power before the IM will. I have dyno's of my car that show this.
Stock GSR heads have made well over 200whp look in the ALLMOTOR dyno threads.

A friend of mine put a Skunk2 IM on his GSR and he picked up 20hp, he has a dyno graph of it. The engine is stock otherwise.

I don't know. I put a pro products 68mm tb on my setup which is almost identical to yours and I lost a lot of low and mid range power. But My top end was just kinda better but when I switched it back to my stock tb it felt wayy better throughout the powerband. So I'd say don't use it unless you go with bigger cams.
