I have a 91 honda civic with a b16a cable tranny.
My axle keeps popping out of the tranny.
can anyone tell me why. right side axle

 

same thing was happening to my friends integra. first he though it was the axle so he replaced it and it didnt do it for a while but then it started doing it again. then from conversating with ppl we know and dont know some of them told us that its a sing of that the tranny is messing up, or its worn and after looking for a short time he came up on a really cheap si tranny. we put it on and no problems, axle stayed.

you can keep driving it but eventually it will do it every time you make a turn, if its not doing it alot allready. so you might want to look for a tranny

 

There's a C clip that holds the axle in, is that in place? It should be in enough that you can't just easily 'pull' it out.

Run a search "axle popped out", you'll get heaps of results.
