Default 92-95 Civic Exhaust compatibility

Hey,

I'm wondering if an exhaust system from a stock 92-95 CX Hatch would fit on an Si Hatch or the same year?

Thanks,
Phil

Uh oh. I know for sure my cat is below the car. I can't comment on what's on the CX.

Are the CX's different from the U.S. and Canada? Does the Canadian CX still have the D15B8, or does it have a D15B7? The cat on the USDM CX & VX is on the manifold, instead of being below the car (I own a '94 CX). I believe the piping diameter is also smaller for the CX/VX.

Regardless of whether the cat is mounted in a different place or whether the diameter is different or not, you could just cut the piping shorter and weld a new flange on there to make it fit.
