Default 'Donut" spare

My used 91 HB DX had a flat tire recently, so I put on the spare for the first time. It didn't seem to bolt up normally, and made a funny noise when moving. Turns out that it may not be the original spare. Same bolt pattern, though. Turns out the center hole is 1/16" smaller than the regular stock wheels. Can some tell what car this spare belongs to? Just curious.

I have attached a photo of the spare.

i think it is for a miata because my friend wanted to borrow my rims and i put the daisy rims on my car and the center hole was also too small
same bolt pattern and everything except the center hole is smaller

well from what he said having a smaller center hole, it sounds like a miata donut

It's a possibility, but how do you know that there aren't a billion other possible cars out there that may also have a smaller bore than a Civic?

Thanx for the responses. Funny that there was no indication on the rim of the manufacturer, other than 'Made in Japan'. I figured that the odd (ugly) puke yellow color might be a clue to someone who had seen these before. I'll get a Civic donut at the local picknpull tomorrow.

Anyone in the Sacramento area want this one?
