Are the cams new? If so i'd suggest you to use the Skunk2 springs. I know they cost more, but in the event that something happens, you dont want to call skunk2 and have to tell them that you used a different set of springs. Many individuals have used different springs without failure but in the event something goes wrong (less likely than not) its just your warranty.

I agree unless you have the means to get the spring rate and know what the spring rate is supposed to be i would go with the springs made for the head. Im personaly running type s springs with skunk2 stage 2 cams but pro2 turn up so much higher i would be scared to not run what was desighned for them they are some big cams.

They "should" be sufficient, but if it were me, go with Skunk2 Pro-series valve-train (that's what I did).

same here, i have almost all of my skunk2 valve train. going with pro2's. the only thing on the head that wont be skunk2 are the cam gears. hopefully this wont void any warranty i might be illegible for.
