Ummm Prelude w/ I/E will beat a stock GRS.
My bro has a GSR, and he's working on the mods, and no I will not let you know who wins when he gets his mods as drags are pointless contests that prove nothing.

 

they prove which car is faster. If they proved nothing, there wouldn't be such a huge following for drag racing.

The better driver

 

4th gen VTEC lude would win with the same driver. (ET vs ET) other than that, driver is the main diff here.

 

This topic has been discussed like 7 million times. When my prelude was stock, I never lost to a a GS-R. I consistently beat my friend with i/h/e. The prelude is faster.

 

Same here, the only gs-r I lost to was the first few weeks I had the prelude, and I was shifting at redline and not 8k.

 

I've never brought it up that far, usually around 7500 or 7600 for me. One time I did hit the limit though, but I didn't see the tach.

 

a prelude would rape a gsr.... a type R on the other hand would be a different story.... man lock this thread.

ive beat gsr's everytime ive raced them. i dont rape them, but i beat them. even fixed up ones, ive beat. type r's on the other hand, i was close....haha

both stock it would be very close, even though the h22's have 190-200hp stock the gsr has 170 in a much lighter car with a higher redline! you decide!

 

who care gsr is better.....you can bulid that motor like crazy

Stock for stock 5thgen vs GSR... 5th gen by a little.. the GSR should be at your door
4th gen vs GSR... the GSR should be at your rear bumper

The prelude has more torque to get off the line quicker.. GSR does not have the power to catch up and pass

Type R does not have the torque to win off the line, but does have the HP to catch up and pass... along with a very good transmission

 

my buddy has a 94 Lude vtec and i raced him a bunch when i was na still. Stock to stock he had me by less than a front bumper. When we both had aem cai's he still got me. Then when we both had i/h/e i edged him out, but not by much. On the other hand, i never lost to a 5G Lude.
