Major Motor Probs HELP!
ok guys. cars running like crap and 1 cylinder has no compression. i put oil in the cylinder to see if the compression would go up and that would prove it was rings. but that didnt work.
the cam and rockers look fine. should i pull the head and have a look at the valves or just get a whole new engine (D15B2)

I just gave mine away when I did my swap...good motor no leaks, runs strong, D15b2...I would assume, with almost everyone upgrading and doing swaps left and right, you'll find a practically good motor for about $200 bucks. Not unless you're a skilled mechanic and out of work with plenty of time to spare. You can take your motor apart, send the block for machining and replace all bearings, rings and have it completely done for the same price...
