Default lip kits

I have a 98 acura integra gs and i wanna put a type r lip on the front bumper and was wandering wat material is best the abs plastic or the polyurethane and was also wandering how u guys applied those to ur front bumper because i screwed mine that i had previously but heard u can heat it on to ur front bumper with a heat gun true or not and can you do that with both abs plastic or polyurethane and which ones better durability wise

OEM ITR lip is the best way to go

im not really familiar with the oem is that a direct bolt on how is it applied on there

correct, since you have a 98 front just buy a 98-01 ITR front lip and it will be a direct bolt on. simple and easy and has the original look

Carbon breaks easily under street conditions, curbs etc.

Poly is nearly un-breakable, flexible and such. You wont' damage the lip if you hit something, but you will need to repaint it after.

Im sure you wont have any trouble finding one...check on here for some one local, craigslist can be a good resource. Numerous other websites carry them, worst comes to worse there is ebay, though you said you were not to thrilled about picking one up off of there...

well locally i kno there isnt one because well im from indiana and theres not people into cars around here like imports and if they are into imports theyll have body kits and things like that which never ever gonna buy from them but checkin on here right after im writing this post and i had the abs plastic which cracked in half from a pot hole so thats out of the question and polyurethane i see price is higher on those but is it true indestructable

poly are strong and durable while abs plastic is weak and easily broken via curbs, pot holes, etc.
