Aluminum welding shop in 626?
Got it done @ a place called Howe welding in Monrovia CA, great shop, excellent service, just wanted to update in case anyone needs it done.

So I bought a set of coilovers for my MKV Gti, but the shock body connection to the swaybar endlink attachment is broken. It is seriously a clean cut whole cut and I just need a shop in SGV (626) area to weld it. It is off the car, but I am hoping to get this taken care of tomorrow and cheap seeing it will take less than a minute because the piece is 1/2 long LOL.
Any replies are appreciated, thanks guys and have a goodnight.

have to tig something like that, will take about 1/2 hour - hour labor to clean the part, get it prepped. away and weld it.
mig is that quick spot here sot there hand it to the customer crap.
going rate is $150/hour
if you're lucky find someone with a spool gun, aluminum and argon (a trailer assembly plant or something that does alot of mig alum work and they mightbe able to get it for you under $20 )
mig alum work is pretty rare, a muffler shop won't have the equipment to do aluminum. (a/c high freq GTAW or a the GMAW i just told you about)

Thanks for the information, the part is pretty clean, but if anything I can clean it properly prior. I figured most muffler shops, etc won't have it, but I am still looking a bit more local first. If anything I will PM you and maybe come out this weekend @ the worst.
