Anyone know of a universal OBD1 race harness?

I'm a little tired of messing around with a factory interior harness, and using it in conjunction with a factory ecu. We're drag racing here, not driving to work (however there are exceptions to this lol). What I want is to eliminate the need for the factory gauge cluster, and everything behind the dash that doesn't relate to engine functionality. This makes it almost universal so that one could literally take the entire system out, which includes the modified factory ecu, a small universal interior harness, and INCLUDING the now universal engine harness, and put it in another car that has no wiring whatsoever, and plug it up to a motor and go. This could be like a package deal just like when you order a BigStuff3, Motec, etc. system, you get a harness that goes between the ecu and the engine. Additional interface and power source items are added as well of course. The idea here is that it is more universal. I'm also tired of swap harnesses. Just one direct harness is what I want. So if I wanted to pull my motor and electronics from an old civic drag chassis and put it into another integra drag chassis, I could easily snake the harness through the firewall and plug it up to the motor and fire it up. Perhaps the package could be set up for a specific fuse box such as a 95 Integra fuse box. That way, when I transfer all my equipment from one car, I can take the same fuse box along with it. Just bolt it all in and fire it up. I'm talking about a harness that is neat and streamlined. No balled up wire. So I suppose this is also urging the need for application specific universal harnesses that will work with not only an OBD1 equipped engine, but for an engine with either OBD0 sensors, or an engine with OBD2 sensors. You get the idea. Just specify which sensors your engine has (OBD1, OBD0, OBD2, OBD2b, etc), and your universal harness will be sent out. Simple! Also note that we are only talking about an OBD1 ecu here.
I will say that the factory gauge cluster does in some ways make it nice and easy so that aftermarket gauges don't have to be added, but those same old two factors still **** me off. That is, I can't go universal from one car to another with all the same wiring, and the ecu communicates with the gauge cluster to activate vtec and the like. That sucks for drag racing in my opinion.
I suppose the only thing is that it makes the car ineligible for street driving since there is no functional gauge cluster that has the CEL light. It makes getting an inspection sticker nearly impossible. This could be a bug that needs to be fixed, but these sorts of issues only arise for those that like to drive their drag cars on the street. I personally don't, and will not. You can still in some ways use the factory speedo, and tach if you wanted to. Anyhow, I think my point and question are now clear.
Is there anything like this already out there for race cars?

Rywire has been making a harness like this for a bit now...

Originally for people retaining dash function...but if needed, you can request a full on race harness for sure.

yeah rywire has them, but do they really use those obd0 sensor plugs?? i know they fit the obd1 stuff but they are ugly.
JKOBD.com makes them too.

Rywire for sure. Stay away from chasebays he's a theif. I vouch for my rywire harness top notch work. For a dash cluster I went with a tuner view display from hrtuning.com....
don't take this the wrong way, but part of building a car, along with building your motor, transmission, etc...., is building your wiring harness. If you spend some time with your car and a factory service manual, you can quickly figure out what and where you need wires.

Hybrid Racing does this with a universal k-series wiring harness. With their kit, you can wire any chassis to run the k motor.
Is there anything like this available for the b-series motor? If it helps, just pretend that I am putting a b-series or f-series motor into a non-Honda/Acura chassis. Thus, i'd need a wiring harness to run the Honda stuff.

Yeah Rywire is great, but how do I know that they make a harness that will allow me to bolt a b-series motor into a tin can and wire it up if I wanted to?
You see, i'm getting away from subharnesses and all the little adaptables. Just a harness is what I want. It's like building a car from scratch with some pieces of metal and putting a motor in it that requires some form of engine management. Well, in my case, it would be the use of the OEM Honda ecu. So pretend that I don't have a complete Honda vehicle wiring harness laying around or from a wrecked car.
Honda engine control in any vehicle is what i'm looking for. Basically.

I'll give Rywire a buzz Monday, or just an email. Thanks guys. This is what makes HT so great.
Sure, I mean, yeah, all these parts are new, which is completely understood. I'm just trying to make my situation understandable, and it's clear to me now that we ARE all on the same page here. Cool. I think its pretty cool that we have an industry that has suppliers who really put in the effort and devotion to make a great product.
