90% of aftermarket exhausts dont fit right even if you do buy them for the right model. To fit it perfect it will require modding. Depends how picky you are and how you want it to turn out. I think the only difference is how long the header/ collector is between the gsr and ls motor. All of the bends from the cat back are the the same. It just might need some fab work to connect properly to the collector.

i wanted to buy the Apexi N1 exhaust system but it says that it will only fit the GSR and that confuses me alot...i thought that the gsr and ls has the same exhaust lengh after the cat.,and no one has answer this question for me so far....i'm kind of picky...

if its the same body style cars i dont see why not. Sometimes when buying after market headers you have to deal with the length being longer anyways. Do you go to de anza by any chance? o_O

hmm... I had some experience with my 2 door GS-R and if I remember right, the piping is different which is why they have different size/length direct fit cat backs for LS and GS-R trims. In either case, if you take it to a muffler shop they can make it fit.

the DB is a lil over 3inches longer than the DA. the pipe after the cat that is. i had the same problem with my DB1. but yeah if you get something for a DA you might want to take it to the shop for installation.
