How to get rid of the green immobilizer light?
I know this has been recovered very recently, but I can't find the thread for my life.
Can someone tell me how to get the green light on the cluster from blinking?
I remember in the other thread someone said something about opening up the plastic ignition cover and just disconnect a wire, but I have no idea which one or if I'm just imagining ****.
Thanks in advance.

Really? I could've sworn it was posted already and no complaints/locked thread.
Its not "deactivating it" either. Its just getting rid of the green light. I'm using KPro and its not enabled but the green key keeps flashing and its annoying as hell

I asked around, and this is actually a legit/ok question. There should be no risk in telling how to remove the immobilizer light only. If anyone wants to answer this question, feel free. The question is how to only remove the green flashing key light from the cluster.
Note, if the thread does in fact go off topic, it will be closed immediately. Or, if any of you attest to this thread being open LMK.

I found a thread on Club RSX on how to disable it, but just don't know which plug it is in the steering column.
Why not just take it into the dealership? They can reset the immobilizer for you with your new ECU and the light will stop blinking. It's not expensive to do this and takes only a few steps for them to do it.
^ i dont think the dealer would want anything to do with that. i work at Honda and ppl come in all the time try to alter the mph cuz of speeding tickets and its just one of those things we just dont do. but im not too sure about the immobilize
The exact same steps are taken if an ECU dies (very rare, I know) and they need to replace it. This is exactly what I had done when I put a full KPro'd ECU into my RSX.
The immobilizer is nothing illegal. It is an actual service provided by the dealership. If you buy Hondata KPro (with ECU, not sending your ECU), you will receive the ECU with the immobilizer disabled. In order to reactivate the immobilizer (and therefore remove the green flashing light) you need to go to the dealership. They have the specific software that allows them to go through a few simple menu items to re-sync the key ring in the car with the immobilizer setting in the ECU.
