Default anyone running bw s300 91-79

Been looking into turbos for my new setup and after a lot of research this turbo is looking tempting. I didn't know if anyone on here was racing on this turbo? looks like it can make more power than the 366 and even though it says it has a twinscroll .91 A/R full race said they may have bigger A/R for it. still under a 67mm also

I have a 91-79 in which I will be doing some testing soon. I have a custom 1.10 ar turbin on mine which should be interesting.

I have been researching it for some time now. What power do you think the 1.10 ar will make on that turbo?

around 800...it performs very similar to the s366xl....ie it spools the same as a s372 and makes about 100whp less.

The turbo flows 82lbs which means in the area of low 800 range. I will be testing the turbo with the 1.10 housing soon. Currently only the .91 ar is avaliable but pending results on this housing other various ar's will be avaliable.

Jeff Evans has tested an ls vtec with the 91-79 with .91 ar turbin and at 27 lbs they made 750.

still not sure If I want to go to the 372r or try this 91-79. I would kind of like to stay in the 67mm range so I can run true street. Keep us updated on the testing with the 1.10 ar housing I am hoping it can make 850ish

IMHO if you're looking for a solid 850 then the s400sx 71.1mm is the best choice for you. Not saying the 91-79 can't do it but you're pushing the turbo hard as it flows 82lbs. Don't want to run a turbo Maxed out so long.

yeah If I go bigger than this turbo I'm just jumping to the 372r but I've been thinking about staying on the 67mm for the true street classes. I'm stuck on what to do.

this turbo or the bw366 would be great. just depends if you are t3 or t4 flange also. the 91-79 is a t4twinscroll

Putting PSI aside and putting HP in to play I'd say safe 800 on this turbo would be great.

This would be a great turbo for the goals you want and the price is just amazing on it. Full-Race can help you get what you need. This turbo will make the power you want and then some with less than price of the billit precision turbo pt67 everyone is going crazy over. And all BW turbos are RE-BUILDABLE.

would it be fair to say this size turbo will make more power than any other 67mm turbo?

It makes the same power as the precision billet pt67 with about 700 dollars less if that helps . And the 91-79 is a 66mm turbo the pt67 if I'm correct is 67mm.
