Here we go guys: Its a 95 civic coupe with an Ls swap... everything listed is brand new: axels (raxels), clutch kit (competition stg 4), motor mounts... the car drives fine until i let go the throttle while in gear (any gear) i will here a grinding noise (not Loud)... as soon as i press down the clutch pedal the noise is gone! wut da heck?!?!? help me please???? All gears work...

 

was there any problems with the tranny before the new clutch? did you install everything correctly and torqued down to the right amount of lbs?

 

Bad throw out bearing?

 

I hope so.. some people are saying its my tranny...

 

dont no man.. bought it from a friend.. he said it had no problems...

 

Sounds like it, I would take it apart and replace the throw out bearing

 

sounds to me like its either the throw out bearing or the more likely input shaft bearing
