I posted this in the All Motor Section but didnt think it would get viewd that much so i decided to post it here

Ok I have a 2000 Civic SI and i have some extra money laying around and have been doing alot of research and think i have narrowed it down to

GReddy, Megan Racing, or DC Sports for the Header

GReddy Ti-C Cat back or Skunk2 Cat Back or Apexi-N1

Any suggestions?

 

Hi-Tech replica header and Apexi WS2 or Greddy SP2. those other ones you listed are too damn loud.

Hy-Tech headers IMO are the ****. they make replicas now that are full stainless and tig welded. i have seen up to 10whp gains w/ a good tune on a GSR with basic bolt ons. look at this one. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HYTEC...261810001r9600

DC Sports For the Header. And WS2 Apexi Cat Back.

 

just to clarify DC headers suck for what you pay for them. for 100 bucks more you can get a nice header with good welds and better performance

 

you took the words out of my mouth, ws2 ftw you will thank us two months down the road. Otherwise every time you pull into a gas station you will be getting stares as soon as you get out. You drive a honda my friend everyone knows how much hp they put out. Nothing you do will make it sound like a ferrari. Please take our advice. I promise ws2 won't let you down.

do u want a loud exhaust or a quiet exhaust? What are you looking for exactly

 

i dont car about sound..loud is fine im looking to get performance out of it and not a raspy crackling sound when im at a higher rpm

 

hmm well i have a tanabe super hyper medallion on my em1 and i love it man

550 shipped or something like that... its close to an $800 exhaust though

 

Out of your options I would go with a Skunk2 exhaust, but for the header I would go with something with a 2.5" collector, and if you have to have a catalytic converter then get a used ITR cat for $100.
