i have a 90 lx sedan me and a friend just put a gsr in it and i wanted to know about the throttle body, everyone says to use a da cable so i got one but when i took out the stock cable it looks way different the lx cable has a little tee shape like the throttle body has and it slides in on top of the pedal but the da cable has a big circle metal peace and doesnt look as if it will slide into the pedal peace can some give me advice that has ran into this problem or know what cable i have to use or what to do thank you.

 

you can use the cable that came with your car. If it is the DPFI engine, the cable will be a bit longer but it works. If you have to buy a cable, I would look for a CRX si or HF cable.
Back in the day, I bought a new EG throttle cable at the dealer and it worked just fine as well. You will need to make a custom installation for the throttle cable bracket that goes on the manifold next to the TB.

 

thanks!! id appreciate hearing some more opinions if anyone else has had to deal with this.....i was told a DA cable would work but the little **** on the pedal end doesnt slide in......??????

thats cool yea the gsr should rip...i just really need to find out if this DA throttle cable will work and how it can hook up at the pedal
