how can i distinguish the differences between a crx si, Dx, HF and the 4 spd trans just by looking at them. I know they all have L3 written on them please help..the trans is for a 89 crx si. I really want a dx trans thought but help..cause i have just installed 2 different transmissions and they both werent the dx one was a HF and the other was a 4 spd.

 

theres a casting mark on teh tranny above the filler hole it tells u wut bearings are in it to denote dx si pl300 is dx i believe and 6000 is si i think but do a search someone has this on their site somewhere d16a.com i think
