hi i have a 1989 honda civic and i recently replaced my worn clutch but when i was done i turned on my car and when i have the clutch pedal pushed to the floor the gears wont go in but if i only push it in half way it slides in like butter idk y but n e help will be appreciated

 

your clutch cable needs adjusting. if 1/2 way engages it fully, loosen it up. it should only be tight to where you can barely move the fork with your hand.

another scenario would be the clutch disk is in backwards.
