The reason i'm asking this is because i recently converted 98 hatch from automatic to manual. The engine and dash harness came from a 99 SI. The problem i'm having is that the harness that connects from the fuse box to the rear (park/brake/reverse/ signal lights) didn't match so i cut the wires and matched up the wires by color. Everything works fine except the rear park lights. The 7.5 fuse keeps blowing as soon as i flip the lights on. I tried putting a 15 amp in and the park lights turn on but its really dim. I never leave it on longer than 5 secs because i know a wire is going to burn out somewhere. i'm not trying to solve the problem like that.

So if anyone knows any remedies to fix this it would greatly be appreciated.


Also when i put a meter on the red/blk wire it gives me a -12v. It seems like something is reversed. I triple checked the wires that i matched up just in case i crossed one but its all matched up.
