Default CARBON FIBER......

ighty ppl this is the deal there are so interior parts that i know of that i can get arm rest, cluster trim, cluster bezel, and door panels... is there any other ones out there that i can get???? but i want parts that are real carbon fiber not that stick on shiz but i just cant find anything on the web that im lookin for..... any ideas or just do i have to settle for that stick on shizzz???????

if you want custom carbon fiber parts, you usually have to buy the stick on, or you can make your own by wrapping the existing pieces and coating them in resin, which can prove to be very costly, time consuming, and difficult.

talk to H-T member "bloody lip" he runs the sales department of Innovative Fabrications. They can do some nice overlaying. But, as "since 1983" said, it will cost you. So if $ is an issue for you, then you may have to settle for the stickers. Or you can roll the dice, see if you have the know how to do it yourself, or not have it at all. GL

Im assuming youre not going for weight reduction because if you were you would probably just gut the car. So you could use wet carbon. Its much cheaper to do it yourself and it is difficult, but not impossible. The way I would do it is to make negatives of the desired parts from fiberglass, then lay the carbon into them to get the replicated part. There are many tutorials on the net on how to do this.
