My car is a 95 del sol with a JDM D15B vtec in it. It is turbo running at 8.5psi. I'm throwing a code 6 for the ECT sensor and went to the dealership today and was going to buy one. When I told the parts counter I needed the ECT sensor he said there were 4 of them, I personally thought there was just the one in the front of the engine under the dizzy. He then showed me a diagram and pointed at the 4 sensors. One in which he pointed at was 14 and looked to be the oil pressure sending unit, and he said it was. Mine is currently leaking which lead me to believe that that is what needed to be replaced.
Could this sensor leaking have made me throw code 6?
or what sensor should I replace to fix the problem?
Thanks in advance, Mark

The engine does have multiple temp sensors (e.g., ECT sensor for the ECU, ECT switch for the fan, ECT sending unit for the cluster gauge), but only the ECT sensor will throw code 6. It's the 2-wire sensor located below the distributor.
