My solenoid is awful messed up and doesn't bolt up properly anymore, and generally just spills oil out the wazoo.

I can't find a solenoid for the F23A1 on the marketplace or ebay, and I'd really like to not pay $200+ for a new genuine part. Will the solenoid from any other engines fit my head?

 

I have same question, I want to upgrade my solenoid but it's difficult to find for JDM f23a.

 

I'm not sure why one would "upgrade" but replacement is the same as the Odyssey, so they are easy to get:


$40 new

Make sure a new gasket is put on, that's usually the cause. $5 from Rock Auto or really any parts store.

 

There are two gaskets. Make sure you replace both.
