obdo ecu's
hey guys.i was just curious on what are all the ecus out there for an obdo b16? asking bcuz i got an ecu to use for an obdo ls/v,and its says pr4 on the side.wtf? from my knowledge pr4 is ls non-vtec.a few years back a buddy used it and the redline was past 7200.leading me to believe its for a b16.someone wrote b16 vtec on the face but the sticker is saying pr4...could it be chipped to work on a b16?? any help would be great
do this.
- pop the cover off
- look at the spot where the ecu plugs into the harness
- look at the opposite side of where the harness plugs into the ecu
- you should have a secondary motherboard
see the secondary motherboard on the top right corner

- the casing may be pr4 but it may be a pr3 or pw0

im positive its an obdo.i have a 90 pr4 ecu that i just took the cover off of,and i also popped the supposed b16 cover off, and they are identical to each other.no secondary motherboard.but the "b16" ecu has been chipped. So im led to believe they are both pr4's.jst one has a chip.my buddy just picked it up to go try on a obdo lsvtec.so i guess i will find out if it will work or not.
