hey um i was wondering
ive had plenty of vtec motor and i could hear them
the last b16 i bought was in 03 and that motor had the loudest vtec i have ever heard
and now i have a h22 in a eg and i want the vtec to sound the same...
does anyone know how to make the sound pop loud

 

Get another b16.

 

h22s don't break as loud because they have a dual stage intake manifold like a gsr that smooths the transition.

If you want your car to be slower, and vtec to be more dramatic, unplug the IAB solenoid. But it will be slower.

 

yeah your really not supposed to be able to hear it crack like that stock
