Ok so i have a 90 CRX HF. I HAD Tein RA ITR suspension on my car and the ride was unbearable. Obviously because the TEIN RAs were made for a much heavier car (integra) and they were a track application so the spring rates were very high. Also, i believe due to the geometry of the Integra suspension, it makes it very hard to lower the car properly.

I had the fronts almost adjusted all the way down and had a 2in gap between the tire and top of the fender.

The ride was terrible, any bump in the road would feel like my car was on a pogo stick, almost no suspension travel at all, i would jump up and down on the fender and the car wouldnt budge.

I recently went with the Skunk2 PRO-C Coilovers designed for CRX/DA. the back i now get the correct ride height adjustment, the front seems to be having the same problem as the TEIN RAs. I have the shock shortened almost all the way, and still have a 2in gap. The car basically sits much lower with much less adjustment in the rear than the front.

What im scared of doing is shortening the strut all the way, then having to pre-load the springs another 1in to even get close to the front looking the same as the back. the car is NOT SLAMMED and im not trying to have it slammed on the ground either. I just want a decent stance without compromising my shocks life.

Do i need to get the Extended top hats? I will post pictures when i get home . Any help is appreciated
