Default Dc2

I just lowered my dc2 and slammed it to about half a tire. I have zeal coilovers. Everytime i go up my driveway either my left or my right rear makes a popping noise. It sounds like the coilovers come apart then pop right back in when i make it up the driveway. Can anyone please tell me why it does that and how i can fix it? Thanks

Its probably your shock bottoming out. Thats bad. Raise your car back up. And buy some aftermarket shocks because you will blow your stock ones in no time. You cant have big drops on stock shocks.

Yeah If you continue to use stock struts on a lowered car like you say yours is, they'll be blown in about a week, and you'll be bouncing all over the road.

I have my car lowered on kyb agx shocks and tanabe gf210 springs. I hear alot of nosies (popping and creaking) coming from my rear end when I go into driveways or over bumps. The creaking is cause I need new bushings. The poping is coming from the shitty install autobachs did on my sway bar. Try stoping the car when you hear the pop the first time and check everything and see if it all looks right, in case they are poping out and then back in.

it could be your top mount coming off the spring and coming back down on it. and the spring and coilover assembly reseating. its not a big deal. just kinda annoying.

Mine did the same thing, when the suspension flexed when i would enter my old parking lot the one side would drop. When the wheel came back up the spring would reset on the adjustable part. It would pop pretty loud like something broke.

Either higher your car, or get new coilovers..
