Default argh!! these axles are pissing me off!!!

i got these axles and halfshaft from HMO. i have no idea what it is! he said he was sneding me all SIR stuff...i got the passenger axle in fine. go to the driver side and it was too long, so i went ahead and knocked off the dust seal and spacer on that hub. the axle now fits all the way in the hub, but i cannot get the lower ball joint back in the huB. it looks like the axle compressed all the way and its about 1/4 inch off from linig up with the LCA someone help me out

How did you do it? Do you HAVE to take apart the hub assembly?
