i having weird problems with my car lately. 1994 civic lx 4 dr with d16y8 swap.

the issue is when the car is running it will randomly start missing on cylinder #1 then it will run fine again. sometimes it will happen as soon as i start the car and sometimes i will drive it 50 miles and not have the problem.

i have replaced many things and still can't find the problem.

replaced:

fuel pump, plugs, distributor, wires, engine wiring harness, ecu.

can anyone help this is my only car!

 

lol, you really should read the sticky where it clearly states that you must NOT title your topic HELP! you must be more specific hence why probably nobody has replied to your post yet. Have you checked your compression in cylinder 1?


BTW 4DOORS FTW!!

 

check your compression your ring might be messed up or could possibly be the ignition coil too

 

Check your compression. Check your ignition timing.

 

check to make sure your plugs are gapped correctly

 

Those wouldnt cause an intermittent problem.
