hey i got a crx hf with a d16a6 motor with d16z6 head the car will fire up no problem but only stays running for 2-5 sec and dies recranking it will restart it for another 2-5 sec no codes on ecu i have tried pm6 pm8 and pr4 ecu all the same problem
but if i pull the tps and map sensor plugs off it will fire up and run like a wrx idle rev all that forever
when i put them back on and restart it will run super smooth but only for the 2-5 sec

the car has gas

oh and when the tps and map or hooked up i can pump the pedal to keep it running a little it runs really rough

 

with the z6 head, it seems like you'd want to try a p28.

 

it should run off the pm6 ecu it doesn't need to hit vtec or anything just idle

 

how is your fuel pressure?
and a pm6 is obd-0, while a p28 is obd-1

which is your car? converted obd-1 or still obd-0?

 

the car is still obd0 i will be using a chipped pr4 obd0 with vtec hooked up to the auto pinout on turboedit

fuel presshure is fine 50 psi

 

i'm not sure what it could be.
i'm sure if this stays at the top, someone will have an answer for you tomorrow.

yes the a6 obd0
