best clutch
guys i am getting ready to buy a clutch i was most likely going to get the clutchmasters stage 3 but some people told me it was horriable so i am confused again. i am going to do major work to my R soon so i will get a flywheel but not right now. need help now guys. thanks
ok - if you want people to answer your question in a helpful way - you have to provide more information in your query.
"Best" can be defined in about 300 ways - and with respect to what YOU want it totally depends on what qualities in a clutch YOU find attractive.
what don't you like about the stock clutch (and please tell me we are talking about a Type R)

Agreed BPR, we need a starting point of what you might want in a clutch and go from there. I personally have an Exedy Organic faced clutch which i like a lot. I do driving schools in my R every couple of months and it holds up well. Easily streetable as well with barely more pressure on the pedal than the stock clutch.

I have used the Type R clutch with 250WHP and no problems, I don't go to the drag strip. If you need more holding power I have used and installed almost every clutch there is and the ClutchMaster Stg 3 is real nice. If broken in correctly it will engage very smooth and has a light pedal feel. But for the money The R clutch is the way to go !

I was running 230whp and the stock clutch lasted 8100 miles, so the R clutch is NOT the way to go. Go TODA
