ok i was driving down a mountain and it started to like sputter and bog and then it just died
i have no clue what it could be?
please help

 

any codes? sounds like perhaps the distributor pooped out on ya

ok i did some work on it today and i changed the fuel filter
then i pulled out a spark plug and tried to start the car and i had no spark
any ideas??

 

im having a similar problem and am leaning towards the dizzy going bad as well...!!!

 

Check to see if you are getting power to your Ignition Module. If you are, then it is most likely bad. (Yes, I did say that right.) Check your main relay and all of your fuses too.

it's the pick up coil/ignitor inside the dizzy, mine did that the day i bought it and brought it home, thought it was the injectors but it ended up being one of the wires came off of the coil and wasn't sparking...try another coil that you know is good and if it works there you go...if not then you know it's your dizzy
