The ball joint that came with skunk2 front camber kit was f***ed up long time ago, but I kept looking for a set of replacement for them..

Now I found a pair of them on ebay:

BWR FRONT CAMBER KIT BALL JOINTS INTEGRA DC2



Has anybody used them on their skunk2 A-arm?
and how is the quality ?

u can buy BLOX replacement ball joints..or you can buy the SKUNK2 replacement ball joints...not sure if those will bolt up..but for sure the BLOX will work on the SKUNK2 arms..i just replaced mine

 

Yes the BWR ball joints work perfectly on skunk2 camber kits.

 

Being that BWR is actually on the board and backing up the product, is it safe to say that these will hold up better then BLOX's version and in the same quality or better then SK2's?

Its just that this is the first time I have heard of the company. I dont get around to the new companies as I used too.

Your version of the ball joints seem to screw down from the top rather then the bottom right? It seems to look like what I have now but I am having issues with the shock tower being dented because of the bolts. Just looking for options for improvement.

Yes you are correct the bolts do screw from the top. If you are running into an issue where the bolts are hitting your shock tower you may want to try finding a flatter topped bolt like a finished style alan head or something at your local hardware store.
You must be very very low !

 

Ehh, Im not tucking, just riding with not much of finger room.. Hahah... I have seen guys lower then that. But I will be raising my car soon when I re-do all my bushings and joints ....thx

 

Just received the Blackworks Upper Ball Joint that I bought off ebay, but the thing is it did not come with the locking pin.

Here's the shot of the ball joint..


Will be installing in the next few weeks as final exams are coming soon
and the rainny weather in Vancouver really makes me nut.....

 

Get back to us with the details and the quality of the part. Did anyone notice how the price went up on the part since this thread?

The price of the ball joints didnt go up because of this thread. MAP pricing went into affect which some sellers had to raise their prices to be at the MAP price.
