ok so in my "trunk" i have all the carpet taken out because in the spare wheel well, its like 1 1/2 inches deep of water. ill soak it up and next time it rains---same issue. i have no idea where it is coming from, i put some rags where the hatch closes to see if it was my weather stripping and they werent wet...
ANY IDEAS????

Happened to three Integras I've owned that were pre 1998. I never actually figured out what it was each time, but check your taillight seals, it does come in through there, and somehow makes it to where you spare tire is located. Are the rear seats wet? the floor in the back of the car?

 

yea its some dumb ****, my civic hatch, integra, and accord all leak in the spare tire, even worse on my accord, i thought about replacing the trunk/hatch seals to see if that would fix it but haven't yet, what i did for a quick fix was in the rear part of the spare tire well was drill (2) 1/8" holes.. at least then i won't have water just sitting up in the well, it runs out until i find the problem.
