Default Gas Pedal question

a friend of mine told me her gas pedal has loss pressure and and in order for her to accelerate she would have to push the pedal all the way down to the floor.
does this have to deal with the throttle body?

It could possibly be the throttlebody but not likly, there are 2 things you should check first. 1) Check the pedal mounts, if they are broken it could hinge on the welds and not fully apply the gas. 2) Check the throttle cable itself, it could have become loose and now is not opening the throttle fully.

the throttle body would rev the motor so i'm guessing it has to deal with the pedal

Yea, i would check the pedal mounts and throttle cable. If it only goes to the floor during acceleration or if it goes back to the normal pedal height.
