Default help! only running on 3 cylinders

ok so lastnite i was driving down the turn pike and my car bogged out.this moirning i was checking my cylinders and i lost compression to a cylinder.i checked the spark plug and it was fine.anything else u can reccomend?

did you add oil and retest the affected cylinder to see if compression went up? if it doesn't go up, then the compression is being lost through the top end. if it does go up, then the rings are shot. rebuild it or swap a different engine in.

Do a leak down test/just put air to the cylinder while at TDC... you could have blew out a valve.
