just finished swap.. not getting fuel? 89 crx dx mpfi swap
Well i just finished wiring up my friends car with a rywire harness.. we installed a jdm d15b vtec and where using a stock pm6 for right now.. where waiting for a obd1 jumper harness to come in.. well when i try to start the car its getting NO fuel.. its not the main relay.. i tried 2 different good relays i had here.. anyone have any ideas?
and when i turn the key to the on position all the lights come on like normal but the check engine light doesnt turn off ? if i remember right, after u turn the key to the on position the check engine comes on and then is supposed to turn off after the fuel pump primes?
i hear the relay clicking but i do not here the pump coming on.. if i put a little gas in the throttle body then the motor does fire for a second..
thanks for ur help

have someone beat on the back under the cargo thing where the fuel tank is with a rubber mallet and listen for it.
but dude. if you have a 0bd1 motor, which it is. and no obd1 ecu. then it wont run. end of story. different timing, and everything else.

And yes the ground is hooked up.. i also took it off and used a little piece of sand paper on the housing to make sure it was getting a good connection..
uhhh this car is pissin me off
you can not use a obd0 ecu with an obd1 motor unless its got the harness or you wired a harness up yourself. please dont challenge me on this.
i just went through process not to long ago.
timing is different, and the dizzy runs differently. in each obd.
muchies
